What is FSC controlled Ipe?

By 17/11/2020December 15th, 2020No Comments

FSC controlled Ipe is Ipe wood that originates from sources certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to meet its controlled wood standard (CW).

Generally, it’s Ipe that was not logged during deforestation, but from managed forests, legally, without harm to conservation values, or in violation of traditional and civil rights.

It can be mixed with FSC-certified products carrying the FSC Mix label.

Peru Maderas produces a limited amount of FSC controlled Ipe from our forests.
